Yep - I too am surprised with any negative reviews. I've been going to Ft. Road and Dr. Mark for over 10 years and received nothing but caring, yet affordable treatment for my dogs and cats. Definitely better pricing than the larger multi-doc/service sites like those south of West Saint Paul .(southview animal... jeez, they have to finance having an MRI on site!?) Ft. Road is busy, and sometimes the front staff is in a hurry on the phone, but I understand, they are smaller, and they try to deal with everyone best they can. Dr. Goodell is getting new vets in, (Dr. Deb for one) and they seem good - of course I'm always partial to my "original doc" - but he needed some help, so I hope this just means that Ft. Rd. will be there for me for many years to come! Update: We just found out that Dr. Goodell is retiring and selling his practice, so we hope the new vet is great, but all of the above has to be treated as outdated. We are sad!

Don't go here. We had a cat that need medical attention fast .he was dieing , we brought him there , and they sent us away, and he was dieing. They wouldn't help us. Because the doc/vet wasn't there. So we had to take him 20 mns away form st.paul. and he died on the table. He was Suffocating.i will never forgive these poeple.if they helped us .then he would have been OK. But they refused to work on him. And I had a rat I brought in. .and he had to be put down.because of her tummors. I paid money to them removed. And they grew back more Aggressively I told them to just put them down and sure enough to They wanted me to wait but I knew she was dying because of all the tumors in her stomach So they finally put her down. And then after they brought her to me. Cause I brought her in the back room she was bleeding from her moth.that is werid. But I also brought my guinea pig there and She was very sick she was very lafargic and she just was very ill And I had guinea pigs for thirty plus years. She lived to be 8. But they knew that she had to get put to sleep and they just did not want to do that so I brought her home and she died in my arms on christmas eve . This place isn't good. The best place in st.paul is Animal medical clinic. They are careing and understanding. I don't even wanna give them a star
