I could not be more grateful for the staff here at the Small Animal Hospital. They saved my dogs life and treated her with such attentive care. I want to give a huge shoutout to Jennica especially who genuinely cared so much for my dog and her well-being. As hard as it was to leave my dog at the hospital, it gave me such peace of mind to know that she was being cared for by someone like Jennica and the rest of their team!

Dr. Chavez and the whole team have gifted us with more time with our dog. It was a difficult diagnosis and procedure, and they answered our questions to help us make informed decisions.

I brought my dog to Lewis Small Animal Hospital during an emergency, and I want to express my sincere gratitude to Jorden, Grace, and Sally. They were kind, professional, and deeply compassionate during an incredibly stressful situation. They didn’t just care for my dog. They also supported me when I was scared, overwhelmed, and trying to figure out how to afford the urgent treatment he needed. Jorden and Sally went above and beyond by helping me access funding options, and that meant more to me than I can properly express. I never forgot their kindness, and I am genuinely grateful. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was very different. The woman at Station 1 was cold, dismissive, and lacked the patience or compassion I would hope for in an emergency setting. I am neurodivergent, and I was already overwhelmed when I arrived. I was asking questions because I was scared and trying to advocate for my dog, but the way she spoke to me made me feel like I was being a burden. That kind of treatment is difficult in any situation, but during a crisis, it made everything harder than it needed to be. I believe it’s important to be honest about that part of the experience. That said, I remain deeply thankful for the medical team who cared for my dog, especially Jorden, Grace, and Sally. Their compassion and effort made a real difference, and I will always appreciate what they did for us.
